Pharmacy Technician, Refill Calls

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Manage incoming pharmacy calls

• Initiate outbound refill reminders

• Assist patients in navigating the refill process

• Coordinate and execute medication refills, including data entry and claim adjudication

• Conduct outbound refill calls and support patients with refill requests

• Address and resolve inquiries from patients and providers

• Clarify prescription orders with pharmacists or clinical personnel

• Maintain and update patient and prescription information in software systems

• Identify trends, suggest enhancements, and support initiatives for process improvement

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide a seamless patient experience

• Ensure confidentiality and adhere to high standards of service quality

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid California Pharmacy Technician License OR National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB/ExCPT)

• Availability for Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5:00PM PST OR 8:00AM - 4:30PM PST schedule

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a pharmacy technician, including refills, claims adjudication, clinical collaboration, or specialty pharmacy

• State registered Pharmacy Technician in California and National Certification (CPhT or equivalent) is mandatory

• Strong computer skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Capability to navigate internet and web-based platforms

• Data entry and computer skills will be assessed during the pre-employment process
