Pharmacy Data Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Generate intricate data requests, reports, and visualizations.

• Prepare comprehensive written reports and oral presentations for senior management, summarizing analyzed data, interpreting results, and providing conclusions and recommendations.

• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track data trends, proactively identify issues, and assess programs and solutions.

• Collaborate across various departments on joint projects.

• Utilize internal and business partner portals and reporting capabilities.

• Support and mentor junior Data Analysts.

• Create supporting documentation for queries and reports.

• Execute additional job responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent years of pertinent work experience is required.

• At least four (4) years of overall experience in pharmacy or medical data analysis is necessary.

• A minimum of one (1) year of advanced skills in SQL and/or SAS is required.

• Experience in extracting data from a data warehouse is essential.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, or Statistics is preferred.

• Prior experience in Managed Care Pharmacy, health plans, or managed care is preferred.

• Familiarity with predictive modeling is preferred.

• Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking skills regarding requests/data.

• Capability to synthesize extensive data from multiple sources.

• Ability to effectively visually present and communicate data, analyses, and findings both orally and in writing.

• Strong time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks within tight deadlines in a dynamic healthcare environment.

• Creative and systematic thinking abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create presentation-ready charts, graphs, and pivot tables.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities.

• Working knowledge of descriptive statistical applications and techniques is preferred.

• Familiarity with Medicare Stars and HEDIS quality metrics is preferred.

• Experience with Tableau Analytical Software, Power BI, or other data visualization tools is preferred.
