This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +9 more states.
• Drive pharmaceutical sales within the designated territory by delivering product knowledge and sales expertise.
• Collaborate on a daily basis with Henry Schein Field Sales Consultants, Strategic Group Executives, Business Development Executives, Strategic Account Managers, and Independent Sales Consultants.
• Achieve the annual sales targets set by the VP of US Medical.
• Promote pharmaceutical products to both existing and prospective customers.
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet or surpass territory sales objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with potential clients.
• Foster and sustain relationships with key decision-makers, healthcare providers, and staff members.
• Conduct regular in-person and virtual meetings with clients.
• Address client inquiries and requirements to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Engage Independent, Midmarket, and Upmarket key clients to understand their needs, recommend solutions, and establish relationships and contractual agreements.
• Stay updated on product information, industry trends, and competitor activities.
• Collaborate with marketing and training teams to create presentations and educational materials.
• Submit reports regarding sales performance, territory challenges, and competitive activities.
• Analyze data and adjust sales strategies to optimize results.
• Negotiate prices and delivery timelines within authorized limits and finalize sales orders.
• Provide internal sales leads, customer feedback, and competitor insights.
• Create proposals, RFPs, and business reviews for key clients.
• Deliver pharmaceutical sales training and education to internal sales partners.
• Attend customer presentations, select trade shows, and Henry Schein sales meetings.
• Participate in special projects and perform other assigned duties.
• Typically 2 to 4 years or more of increasing responsibility in any relevant professional experience.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical products used in the physician-office environment.
• Knowledge of the Generic Pharmaceutical market.
• Strong understanding of industry practices.
• Proficient with tools, systems, and procedures.
• Basic planning and organizational skills and techniques.
• Strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with the capability to multitask.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
• Good interpersonal abilities.
• Basic conflict resolution skills.
• Developing professional credibility.
• Knowledge of the vaccine market, manufacturers, 340b, and product offerings is preferred.
• Experience in developing a pharmaceutical standardization plan and deployment strategies is preferred.
• Understanding of GPO contract compliance, tier pricing, and price parity is preferred.
• Experience with Specialty Pharmaceuticals is preferred.
• Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in a related field is preferred.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
