This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Perform proactive outreach to healthcare professionals regarding product accessibility, approved information, and established patient care guidelines.
• Interact with customers through virtual and digital platforms and guide them to relevant colleagues as necessary.
• Organize speaker programs and local provider gatherings to share experiences and outcomes.
• Ensure that customer requests are fulfilled and gather feedback on the quality of engagement.
• Work in compliance with the ecosystem team to refine targeting and calling strategies.
• Utilize customer insights to shape local strategies and business objectives.
• Elevate opportunities, feedback, and local market insights to the Area Business Lead.
• Analyze territory dynamics, competitive intelligence, business reports, sales data, and promotional budgets.
• Educate office personnel on payer guidelines and reimbursement processes.
• Leverage promotional resources and internal support teams.
• Address objections and influence prescribing patterns during office visits.
• Identify professional groups within the territory and network with potential key opinion leaders.
• Foster relationships with office and practice staff while providing accurate information.
• Conduct balanced office visits and sales presentations using approved marketing materials and technical references.
• Display knowledge of products and competitors to assist healthcare providers in improving patient outcomes.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• At least one of the following: 2+ years of pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience; lesser experience may be considered for individuals who successfully complete the Otsuka ReadyNow program.
• 3+ years of business-to-business (B2B) or equivalent outside sales experience in regulated, clinical, or customer engagement settings.
• 2+ years of clinical healthcare experience (e.g., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, RN, or similar) with proven patient-facing, medical education, or therapy-focused responsibilities.
• Must reside within a 50-mile commuting distance from the primary city in the sales territory.
• Travel capability is essential.
• Daily field travel by car is required.
• Knowledge of the CNS field is highly regarded.
• Skilled in communicating complex clinical information, influencing stakeholders, and converting scientific data into clear, actionable value propositions.
• Commitment to ethical business practices and a solid understanding of regulatory standards is essential.
• Ability to assimilate and convey complex clinical and product information effectively.
