
Pharmaceutical Sales, Neuroscience Long Term Care Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Connect with healthcare professionals using in-person, virtual, and digital platforms.
• Act as the main point of contact for long-term care accounts and healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with the Area Business Lead, local Neuroscience Specialists, Medical Affairs, and Market Access teams.
• Organize speaker programs.
• Arrange local provider groups for discussions.
• Communicate opportunities, feedback, local market insights, strategy suggestions, and team objectives to the Area Business Lead.
• Grasp LTC regulatory requirements, operational challenges, and the clinical and quality-of-life needs of residents.
• Position solutions that enhance value for LTC facilities.
• Identify and foster relationships with LTC decision-makers, including administrators, nursing directors, and pharmacy managers.
• Create and implement customized communication and sales strategies.
• Provide comprehensive, on-label product information following approved materials and regulatory guidelines.
• Address inquiries regarding product access, payer coverage, co-pay options, prior authorization, formulary placement, and availability.
• Offer insights on patient care, system protocols, standards of care, discharge protocols, and established expert opinions.
• Utilize webinars, virtual meetings, digital newsletters, and interactive online platforms to engage with customers.
• Analyze territory and business conditions using competitive data, business reports, sales figures, and promotional budgets.
• Educate office staff on payer guidelines and reimbursement processes.
• Appropriately utilize promotional materials and internal support resources.
• Effectively manage objections and influence prescribing practices in a compliant manner.
• Network with professional organizations and potential key opinion leaders.
• Build rapport with office and practice staff while ensuring accurate follow-up.
• Conduct balanced office visits and sales presentations using approved marketing resources and technical references.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales.
• Must live within a 50-mile commutable distance from the primary city in the sales territory.
• Ability to travel is essential.
• Daily field travel by car is required.
• Preferred experience in pharmaceutical sales, healthcare management, or a related field.
• Experience in long-term care (LTC) and/or CNS is highly desirable.
• 4+ years of experience in a sales role involving healthcare providers is preferred.
• In-depth understanding of the LTC environment, including regulatory requirements, operational challenges, and clinical needs of LTC residents.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and sustain strategic relationships with key stakeholders within LTC facilities.
• Ability to excel in a dynamic environment undergoing change.
• Proven history of coaching, training, and mentoring colleagues or others.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to ethical business practices and awareness of regulatory standards.
