Per Diem Paediatric Research Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Stay fully informed about trial protocols, Case Report Forms, supporting documents, procedures, timelines, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Engage in communication with the Illingworth research nurse project manager, research nurse manager, site personnel, and Principal Investigator.

• Ensure precise documentation and electronic data transfers while maintaining subject confidentiality and adhering to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and data protection regulations.

• Participate in Site Initiation Visits and other necessary meetings.

• Organize and carry out on-site and off-site subject trial visits along with protocol-mandated assessments.

• Administer trial medications and oversee their secure storage, transfer, and accountability.

• Process, package, and send samples while coordinating with courier services and organizations.

• Assist in identifying eligible patients and recruiting participants for clinical trials.

• Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and Suspected Unexpected Serious Adverse Reactions (SUSARs), and provide necessary follow-up support.

• Report any suspected misconduct or fraud to Illingworth and related entities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a registered nurse with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience.

• Experience in research and clinical trials, along with GCP certification.

• Familiarity with research design and methodology is preferred.

• Experience and knowledge of clinical nursing skills, such as venepuncture and ECG, are advantageous.

• Capability to work independently with initiative within a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capacity to prioritize and manage various tasks efficiently.

• Proficiency in computer software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, at a minimum.

• Equivalent experience, skills, and/or education will also be taken into account.
