This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the involvement of Global People Operations in ongoing compliance audits, including SOX, HR security controls, and external assessments.
• Oversee the collection of audit evidence, manage timelines, and act as the People Operations liaison for audit teams across multiple concurrent cycles.
• Suggest data-driven improvements to HR processes and workflows.
• Analyze data and develop insights to promote continuous operational enhancements and improve the employee experience.
• Monitor and execute recurring compliance filings; keep filing calendars updated and track global regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Centers of Excellence, including Procurement, Employment Legal, and Employee Relations.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of Workday HRIS through manual employee change transactions and bulk data uploads.
• Develop and revise comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures that document system interactions and cross-functional transitions.
• Oversee relationships with compliance vendors, managing contract renewals, SLA oversight, and service transitions.
• Navigate uncertainty, identify suitable actions, and communicate systemic obstacles clearly.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Operations, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in HR compliance, People Operations, or employment law support, with direct responsibility for compliance obligations.
• Familiarity with HR processes, policies, and best practices throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Experience in managing or facilitating external audits, including evidence collection and cross-functional collaboration.
• Technical skills and proficiency in Workday, particularly in data accuracy and management.
• Experience with Salesforce or a comparable ticketing system.
• Understanding of US employment compliance requirements: I-9/E-Verify, EEO-1 filing, state pay equity reporting, and labor law posting obligations.
• Proven track record of driving operational enhancements and contributing to major program delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with COEs such as Legal, ER, and People Partners to resolve complex employee matters.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into clear SOPs and stakeholder communications.
• Capability to work cross-functionally and cross-culturally in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
• High attention to detail, emphasizing accuracy, quality, and compliance.
• Proficiency in navigating ambiguity effectively.
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
• Preferred: fluency in data and AI, experience with SOX controls/internal audits/global compliance frameworks, vendor management experience, knowledge of international employment compliance, and experience in building or enhancing global HR compliance program infrastructure.
