This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Collaborate with the Chief People Officer and organizational leaders to define people priorities and translate them into actionable plans.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a small team within the People department.
• Provide guidance to leaders and managers on matters of organizational effectiveness, performance management, talent decisions, workforce planning, and team well-being.
• Manage complex and sensitive employee relations issues from inception to resolution.
• Design and implement programs related to performance management, talent development, succession planning, manager support, employee engagement, and organizational culture.
• Analyze people data and gather employee feedback to identify trends, recommend actions, and deliver monthly reports.
• Oversee compensation and benefits programs, collaborating with Finance and executive leadership on planning, budgeting, and equitable compensation practices.
• Ensure efficient day-to-day People operations, including management of HRIS, data integrity, reporting, policies, and employee lifecycle processes.
• Maintain compliant people policies and processes across all Planful locations.
• Identify gaps in processes, devise solutions, and implement improvements.
• Adapt to evolving business needs and embrace new priorities.
• Progressive leadership experience in People or HR within a rapidly growing SaaS organization.
• Extensive, hands-on expertise in employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, engagement, compensation, and people operations.
• Proven success as a player-coach, effectively leading a small team while personally managing key responsibilities.
• Strong business acumen and confidence in advising senior leaders, particularly in sensitive or complex situations.
• In-depth knowledge of HR practices and U.S. employment law.
• Experience supporting international teams is advantageous.
• Ability to align people priorities with business objectives and create practical, scalable programs.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience thriving in a fast-paced environment characterized by shifting priorities and ambiguity.
• Clear and thoughtful communication skills, with a leadership style that fosters trust, accountability, and collaboration.
• Familiarity with tools such as Rippling, Notion, Greenhouse, Google Suite, and AI technologies is preferred.
• Preferred candidate location is Scottsdale, Arizona.
