This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France, +1 more country.
• Oversee payroll, contracts, amendments, benefits, visas, and time-off procedures for France, Spain, and the US.
• Ensure smooth coordination of People Operations processes with Finance while managing sensitive information confidentially.
• Guarantee adherence to French labor laws and proactively address legal updates.
• Collaborate with the Legal team across France, Spain, and the US on compliance-related issues.
• Keep thorough documentation for audits, fundraising, and due diligence purposes.
• Assist with disciplinary matters, offboarding, and other sensitive processes.
• Develop and manage HR tools while ensuring the accuracy of personnel data.
• Generate trustworthy reports for planning and evaluations.
• Record and automate People Operations processes utilizing AI technologies.
• Provide seamless onboarding and offboarding experiences.
• Offer guidance to managers and employees on People Operations topics.
• Work collaboratively with Finance, Legal, Talent Acquisition, People Business Partnering, and Workplace Management.
• Minimum of 5 years in People Operations or HR administration within a rapidly growing startup or scale-up environment.
• Solid understanding of People Operations subjects, particularly in payroll, compliance, HR systems, or HR projects.
• Comprehensive payroll experience from start to finish.
• Ability to swiftly master modern HRIS and payroll systems.
• In-depth knowledge of French labor regulations.
• Experience in international HR, especially related to Spain or the US, is advantageous.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and dependability.
• Comfort with managing headcount, payroll, and reporting data.
• Familiarity with AI tools and a desire to automate repetitive People Operations tasks.
• Team-oriented mindset in a small group setting.
• Proficient in French.
• Fluent in English, which is the primary working language.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Must be based in France or Spain.
