Peer Support Specialist – In Reach

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Deliver peer-driven support by utilizing personal experiences to foster trust and enhance engagement in services.

• Aid in outreach and engagement initiatives to link individuals with services and community resources.

• Guide individuals in navigating available services and accessing necessary supports.

• Organize group activities, educational sessions, and community involvement opportunities.

• Encourage self-advocacy, independence, and active involvement in services.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• One (1) year of personal experience with a behavioral health condition and/or substance use.

• Certification as a North Carolina Certified Peer Support Specialist (NCCPSS).

• A valid driver’s license is necessary.

• Candidates must reside within Trillium’s Mid State Region, which includes Anson, Guilford, Montgomery, Randolph, and Richmond counties.

• Ability to travel within the catchment area as needed.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for employment now or in the future.

• Successful completion of a drug test is a condition of employment.

• Resume should detail employer name, dates of service, average hours worked per week, and key job responsibilities.

• Include educational background and any licensure/certification information on your resume, if applicable.
