Pediatric Specialist Physician – Telemedicine

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Conduct virtual consultations for mild acute conditions and/or follow-up care for pediatric patients across all age groups.

• Offer clinical information and guidance to parents, caregivers, or legal guardians regarding symptoms, clinical progression, and recommended treatments.

• Analyze and interpret medical examinations and/or laboratory test results, when applicable.

• Ensure the integrity of clinical records, including consultation notes, diagnoses, and specific telemedicine documentation.

• Effectively perform clinical procedures associated with telemedicine, such as electronic prescribing, requesting additional diagnostic tests, and issuing medical certificates, when necessary.

• Recognize situations that are inappropriate for telemedicine and refer patients for in-person assessments or other healthcare services.

• Deliver pediatric care via knok’s digital platform, which facilitates connections among patients, providers, and healthcare professionals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Specialist or resident physician in Pediatrics (mandatory requirement).

• Active registration with the Portuguese Medical Association (Ordem dos Médicos).

• Clinical experience in treating patients with acute conditions.

• Proficiency in utilizing digital platforms.

• Excellent empathetic and personable communication skills.

• Availability to work shifts from Monday to Sunday, including mornings, afternoons, and nights.

• Previous experience in telemedicine and digital health projects (a plus).

• Immediate availability (a plus).
