Payroll Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee payroll information by gathering, calculating, and inputting data into third-party processors.

• Collaborate closely with HR to guarantee the timely receipt of monthly change data and accurate system integration.

• Address inquiries from employees and managers regarding payroll, vacation, and benefits.

• Coordinate vacation planning in conjunction with line managers and HR.

• Supervise and manage the timekeeping system.

• Conduct hiring and termination procedures, including managing union relations if necessary.

• Lead payroll system implementation, encompassing planning, requirements gathering, testing, data validation, cutover, and go-live phases.

• Ensure the accuracy of payroll reports and analyses.

• Collaborate with the accounting team to resolve payroll-related accounting issues.

• Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.

• Remain updated on payroll-related laws and regulations.

• Report directly to the Senior Manager, Accounting as an individual contributor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.

• Over 8 years of payroll experience, including managerial roles in multinational organizations.

• Proven experience in payroll system implementation projects, ensuring smooth integration and user adoption.

• Proficiency in English.

• Strong communication skills, ability to work flexibly and independently, maintain structure, and pay attention to detail.

• Commitment to pursue and complete self-directed training to stay updated on payroll practices.

• Capability to troubleshoot payroll processing issues and generate as well as analyze reports.
