This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.
• Oversee the complete payroll processes across various countries.
• Manage payroll schedules, data inputs, approvals, and outputs in collaboration with Shared Services Payroll and external providers.
• Review and confirm employee information, contractual modifications, variable compensation, and regulatory updates prior to processing.
• Analyze Gross-to-Net reports, pinpoint discrepancies, investigate variances, and resolve issues before payroll finalization.
• Act as a liaison between HR, Shared Services Payroll, Finance, and external payroll providers.
• Stay informed about country-specific payroll laws, statutory obligations, and practices.
• Uphold payroll controls, document procedures, oversee service delivery, and ensure compliance.
• Identify enhancements to payroll processes, data quality, controls, and standardization efforts.
• Reconcile payroll expenses with budgets, forecasts, and financial records.
• Assist in month-end closing and ensure accurate payroll-cost financial reporting.
• Generate global payroll and staff-cost reports for Finance and business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with FP&A on headcount-cost analysis for budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making.
• Create payroll reports, dashboards, and reconciliations.
• Support payroll and staff-cost audits as well as internal control activities.
• 2–4 years of experience in global payroll, payroll operations, HR operations, Finance, or a comparable analytical position.
• Experience in coordinating payroll activities across multiple countries with Shared Services teams or outsourced payroll providers.
• Understanding of payroll processes, payroll controls, and statutory compliance.
• Knowledge of payroll regulations in Spain, the UK, and Mexico is a plus.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
• Capability to interpret payroll data, recognize anomalies, and conduct reconciliations.
• Exceptional attention to detail, data integrity, accuracy, and compliance focus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple payroll schedules, priorities, and stakeholders across different countries.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with HRIS, payroll systems, and reporting tools is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented mindset.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
