This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Process payroll for all employees, which includes calculating hours, wages, taxes, and deductions.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries and wages.
• Maintain and update payroll records along with employee information.
• Address employee inquiries and resolve any payroll-related concerns.
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports and statements.
• Assist with year-end payroll processes and reporting.
• Stay informed about payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with the HR team to ensure accurate employee data and payroll information.
• Uphold confidentiality of all payroll and employee-related information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing.
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and payroll software; experience with ADP Workforce Now is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Capability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
