Payroll Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.

📋 Description

• Evaluate, audit, and verify payroll data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

• Assist with the complete North America payroll processing, which includes reviewing time and attendance, earnings, deductions, bonuses, adjustments, and off-cycle payments.

• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, employee queries, and payroll-related concerns.

• Generate and reconcile payroll reports, month-end files, tax-related information, and payroll documentation.

• Collaborate with Human Resources, Benefits, Finance, and external vendors regarding employee data, benefit deductions, tax withholdings, and payroll funding.

• Maintain payroll records and facilitate internal and external audits.

• Aid in payroll system testing, process improvements, automation initiatives, and payroll-related modifications.

• Monitor payroll compliance requirements, identify trends and risks, and suggest corrective actions or process enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-8 years of experience in payroll processing, payroll analysis, finance, accounting, or HR operations.

• Strong knowledge of payroll principles, wage and hour regulations, tax withholdings, deductions, garnishments, and payroll compliance standards.

• Proficient in payroll, HRIS, timekeeping, or workforce management systems.

• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and data reconciliation.

• Exceptional attention to detail with robust analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

• Applicants in the United States must be authorized to work in the United States currently and should not require employer sponsorship either now or in the future.
