Payroll Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Manage federal payroll or Special Payroll Processing System (SPPS) Web cases.

• Provide assistance with payroll processing for the USDA National Finance Center.

• Address back pay, FEHB/FEGLI, OWCP, RCC, TSP, and salary modifications.

• Record case details and pinpoint discrepancies.

• Conduct quality control and reprocessing activities.

• Assist in USDA, DHS, or other federal shared services settings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen with Clearance Eligibility.

• Background in payroll processing at the USDA National Finance Center is essential.

• Familiarity with back pay, FEHB/FEGLI, OWCP, RCC, TSP, and salary adjustments is required.

• Preferred experience in supporting USDA, DHS, or other federal shared services environments.

• Relevant experience in federal payroll and SPPS Web is a plus.

• Experience with workload levels that align with NFC's operational environment.

• Background in case documentation, discrepancy identification, quality control, and reprocessing activities.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Accounting and/or Finance.

• Knowledge of the NFC Special Payroll Processing System is preferred.
