Payment Operations Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.

📋 Description

• Identify and align incoming payments with customer bookings.

• Reconcile accounting entries across international accounts and various currencies.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payments with internal teams and payment partners.

• Address bank and partner reporting issues to ensure the accurate and timely detection of incoming funds.

• Recognize recurring payment challenges and suggest process enhancements to minimize manual tasks and reconciliation discrepancies.

• Provide support to the Payment Operations, Payouts, and Customer Support Teams.

• Enhance fund movement and reconciliation across international accounts.

• Improve existing partner relationships and pinpoint areas for enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• 1-2 years of professional experience in the payments or banking sector.

• Proficiency in payments identification and reconciliation.

• Experience with bank and partner reporting is advantageous.

• Familiarity with payment processing and investigations is a plus.

• Exceptional attention to detail, urgency for meeting deadlines, and strong organizational capabilities.

• Ability to work autonomously, troubleshoot issues, and complete tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

• Positive, proactive attitude with a demonstrated willingness and eagerness to learn.

• Passionate about problem-solving and assisting customers.

• Strong analytical and computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.

• Experience with Slack, Zendesk, Jira, and/or Looker is a bonus.
