This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Lead the tactical implementation of sponsorships and regional activation of national advocacy partnerships.
• Organize, present, and direct educational programming at patient community and advocacy events.
• Provide above-brand, disease-state education to patients and their caregivers.
• Collaborate with Field Medical and other cross-functional partners to deliver approved content.
• Connect patients and caregivers with relevant advocacy resources and support.
• Oversee major patient programs and propel strategic initiatives.
• Coordinate with regional, local, Business Unit, OPSA, and A&PR teams.
• Manage requests for sponsorship/exhibit funding and related budgets.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Gather and report post-event patient insights, impacts, and metrics.
• Act as a subject matter expert on the oncology advocacy and professional relations ecosystem.
• Disseminate knowledge, best practices, and local insights throughout Pfizer.
• Identify solutions to complex challenges, advocate for innovation, and implement new ideas and processes.
• Represent Pfizer’s above-brand initiatives at local, regional, and national advocacy events.
• Organize travel and materials for events.
• A BA/BS degree is required.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in the US pharmaceutical industry and/or advocacy is necessary.
• Experience in oncology advocacy is preferred.
• Strong project management abilities in a matrixed, cross-functional setting.
• High learning agility and capability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous, and evolving environments.
• Excellent relationship management along with written and verbal communication skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of CP208.
• Ability to prioritize time, resources, and external partnerships effectively.
• Self-awareness, adaptability to change, and ability to influence without direct authority.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%; field-based position.
• Capability to travel as needed.
• Availability for weekend and evening hours may be required.
• Flexibility to travel 40–50% of the time.
• A valid US driver’s license and a driving record that complies with company standards.
• Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the last 7 years will disqualify the candidate.
• Candidates must have authorization to be employed in the U.S. by any employer.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.
• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
