This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Lead the tactical implementation of sponsorships and the regional activation of national advocacy partnerships and programs.
• Organize, present, and facilitate educational programming at events within the patient community.
• Provide above-brand, disease-state education to both patients and caregivers.
• Collaborate with Field Medical and other cross-functional teams to present approved content.
• Connect patients and caregivers to relevant advocacy resources and support services.
• Oversee significant patient programs and drive strategic initiatives alongside regional and local teams.
• Gather insights post-meeting regarding unmet patient needs and the impact of programming.
• Work closely with regional and local teams in key markets during educational events.
• Strengthen regional relationships with Pfizer’s national advocacy partners.
• Manage requests for sponsorship/exhibit funding and oversee associated budgets.
• Coordinate project plans, timelines, and deliverables among Business Unit, OPSA, and A&PR stakeholders.
• Report insights, impacts, and metrics post-event and project within the A&PR measurement framework.
• Act as a subject matter expert on the oncology advocacy and professional relations ecosystem.
• Share local insights and best practices with Brand, OPSA, franchise, and other Pfizer teams.
• Identify solutions to complex challenges, advocate for innovation, and implement new processes or program decisions.
• Comply with CP208, Patient Engagement Lead Policy, compliance requirements, and relevant laws.
• Represent Pfizer’s above-brand initiatives at local, regional, and national advocacy events.
• Organize travel and materials for events and prepare sponsorship/exhibit funding requests.
• A BA/BS degree is required.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in the US pharmaceutical industry and/or advocacy; experience in oncology advocacy is preferred.
• Proven project management skills and the ability to execute in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
• High learning agility and effectiveness in fast-paced, ambiguous, and evolving settings.
• Excellent relationship management and written/verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of CP208.
• Ability to prioritize time, resources, and external partnerships effectively.
• Self-awareness, adaptability to change, and capacity to influence without authority.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%; field-based position.
• Familiarity with Pfizer's above-brand initiatives, Oncology Patient Advocacy360, and the oncology advocacy ecosystem.
• Business acumen, analytical skills, and exposure to headquarters operations.
• A clinical background is preferred (RN, APRN, NP, ARNP, ACSW, LCSW, MPH).
• Ability to travel; weekend and evening hours may be necessary.
• Capability to operate a Pfizer company car.
• A valid US driver's license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Any DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify the applicant.
• Candidates must have authorization to be employed in the U.S. by any employer.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.
• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
