📋 Description

• Support Medical Affairs communications both internally and externally within Myomo, including interaction with internal teams, medical offices, and therapy clinics.

• Liaise with physicians and medical offices to gather necessary documentation that demonstrates the medical necessity of Myomo products.

• Engage with patients throughout the insurance process to collect essential information.

• Assist in scheduling appointments with healthcare providers.

• Update the status of patients in the pipeline.

• Verify insurance coverage for patients.

• Manage a suitable caseload of patient candidates within the insurance pipeline.

• Ensure timely completion of necessary paperwork by candidates.

• Reach out to candidates for signatures on special authorization forms when needed.

• Participate in Medical Affairs and company meetings.

• Carry out additional administrative tasks as required by management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be located in either Central or Mountain time zones.

• A minimum of 4 years of administrative experience in a medical office environment.

• Familiarity with reading or interpreting medical records and insurance documents.

• General understanding of the health insurance landscape and prior authorization processes, including Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and Commercial insurance.

• Proficient in MS Office, email, electronic medical records (EMR), and billing software.

• Exceptional written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Capability to meet deadlines within specified time constraints.

• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
