This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Contact patients regarding both new and ongoing referrals, verifying demographic details, supplying updates on referrals, and confirming the delivery of goods or services.

• Liaise with vendor partners, claims adjusters, and nurse case managers concerning new and ongoing referrals.

• Identify and engage vendor partners for each referral based on the requested goods or services.

• Make and receive calls related to existing referrals, new referrals, or referrals from other team members.

• Provide clients with quotes for approval and follow up to secure written consent for the requested referrals.

• Ensure that referrals are medically necessary and have gained approval from the claims adjuster.

• Verify that required billing information is complete and transition referrals to billing on a daily basis.

• Process referrals in accordance with state regulations and workers' compensation guidelines.

• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.

• Contribute to the organization's quality improvement initiatives.

• Travel as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.

• At least two (2) years of relevant experience in healthcare network and patient care scheduling, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
