Patient Account Resolution Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Deliver outstanding customer service and provide comprehensive product information, solutions, and relevant details to both patients and providers.

• Advocate for customers and convert dissatisfied patients into enthusiastic supporters.

• Assist Field teams, Operations, and Sales by providing timely feedback.

• Address common complaints, identify trends, and collaborate across departments on preventative actions.

• Take initiative to enhance the overall patient experience.

• Contribute to employee programs that promote the company’s core values and culture.

• Provide support to branches across a specified market.

• Review both new and recurring patient accounts and gather necessary documentation for health insurance billing.

• Research and obtain customer information to maintain equipment coverage.

• Cultivate collaborative relationships with field leadership, referral sources, and patients through proactive outreach.

• Assess documentation to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.

• Conduct follow-ups to ensure prompt reimbursement.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• 3-5 years of experience in the healthcare or health insurance sector.

• Intermediate proficiency in Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, and Word.

• Proficient in English (reading, writing, verbal communication).

• Intermediate mathematical skills, with a strong ability to comprehend, interpret, and develop spreadsheet data.

• Must be able to physically reside and work within the United States.

• Capable of meeting the physical demands of the job, including occasional lifting of equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
