This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +5 more states.
• Respond to a significant number of appointment requests.
• Manage incoming telephone calls, emails, work queues, and other electronic communications.
• Coordinate the scheduling of necessary medical exams, procedures, and tests.
• Conduct demographic collection and insurance registration as needed.
• High school diploma or a general education degree (GED) is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, patient access, healthcare administration, or a similar service-oriented role.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Strong customer service and telephone etiquette abilities.
• Capability to manage complex customer interactions and independently resolve issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to exhibit empathy, professionalism, patience, and active listening.
• Competence in managing competing priorities while ensuring accuracy and excellence in service.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills are necessary.
• Experience in navigating multiple computer applications and systems concurrently.
• Willingness to learn new systems, workflows, and processes.
• Experience in handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical scheduling, registration, insurance verification, or prior authorization processes.
• Experience in mentoring or assisting new team members is a plus.
• Must reside in Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, or Texas.
