This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Manage a high volume of inquiries and requests from patients and clients.
• Arrange diagnostic services, physician referrals, appointments, and offer general departmental information.
• Process appointment requests and make outbound calls to organize Epic referrals.
• Communicate details regarding insurance participation, financial responsibilities, and time of service policies.
• Gather patients' insurance and demographic data in EPIC.
• Conduct real-time insurance verification.
• Collect pre-registration details to address Epic work queue accounts.
• Provide support and additional coverage as required.
• Execute general faxing, filing, and sorting of mail.
• Facilitate team discussions about complex patient scheduling requirements.
• Handle escalated cases that involve greater complexity.
• Refer issues to lead, supervisor, or manager for resolution.
• Carry out other related tasks as assigned.
• High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, including a strong grasp of medical terminology.
• High proficiency in a variety of scheduling complexities and associated workflows.
• Exceptional customer service abilities, problem assessment skills, and both verbal and written communication proficiency.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) or comparable software is necessary.
• Previous experience in a high-volume customer service role within a call center setting is preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is an advantage.
