This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
β’ Coordinate appointment requests and make outbound calls to arrange Epic referrals.
β’ Inform patients about insurance participation, their financial responsibilities, and time of service policies.
β’ Gather patients' insurance details and demographic information in EPIC.
β’ Conduct real-time insurance verification.
β’ Collect pre-registration data to manage Epic work queue accounts.
β’ Provide assistance and back-up coverage as required.
β’ Carry out general faxing, filing, and mail sorting tasks.
β’ Lead team discussions related to intricate patient scheduling requirements.
β’ Handle escalated cases with increased complexity as assigned.
β’ Refer issues to the lead, supervisor, or manager for resolution.
β’ Execute other related duties as assigned.
β’ High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
β’ At least 3 years of relevant experience, demonstrating proficiency in medical terminology.
β’ Strong capabilities in managing a variety of scheduling complexities and associated workflows.
β’ Exceptional customer service, problem-solving, and verbal/written communication skills.
β’ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) or similar software is necessary.
β’ An Associate's Degree or higher is preferred.
β’ Previous experience in a high-volume customer service role within a call center environment is preferred.
β’ Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
