πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Deliver advanced services to patients, healthcare providers, and caregivers involved in manufacturer-sponsored initiatives.

β€’ Offer support for billing and coding processes.

β€’ Assist with the tracking and submission of claims.

β€’ Aid in managing and tracking prior authorizations.

β€’ Coordinate benefits effectively.

β€’ Conduct benefit verification results and welcome calls.

β€’ Research alternative advanced coverage options.

β€’ Manage appeals and denials.

β€’ Intake and report adverse events as instructed.

β€’ Provide outstanding customer service while resolving or escalating requests and complaints as necessary.

β€’ Develop regional expertise in payer trends and report reimbursement trends and delays to management.

β€’ Process essential correspondence.

β€’ Collaborate with both internal and external service providers according to program policies and service level agreements.

β€’ Ensure the confidentiality of patient-sensitive information is maintained.

β€’ Analyze data and address moderately scoped issues following defined procedures.

β€’ Operate independently from phone or system queues in accordance with standard operating procedures.

β€’ Perform related tasks such as benefit verifications and determinations for Patient Assistance Programs.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A high school diploma or GED is required.

β€’ At least four (4) years of progressively responsible and directly related experience in customer service, medical billing and coding, benefits verification, healthcare, business administration, or similar fields.

β€’ Combinations of education and experience that are equivalent will be taken into account.

β€’ Extensive customer service experience is essential.

β€’ Strong oral and written communication skills are required.

β€’ Ability to cultivate effective internal and external working relationships.

β€’ Advanced interpersonal abilities.

β€’ Basic analytical skills are necessary.

β€’ Strong organizational capabilities and attention to detail are vital.

β€’ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word is required.

β€’ A general understanding of the healthcare industry is preferred.

β€’ Flexibility regarding schedule and hours is essential.

β€’ Capability to sit regularly and occasionally lift or move up to 10 pounds is required.
