This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Schedule patient appointments for various services, including diagnostic tests, surgical procedures, therapy sessions, physician office visits, and other treatments.

• Gather and confirm essential demographic and insurance details from patients.

• Register patients and input their information into the scheduling system.

• Operate in a call center-like environment.

• Achieve individual quality performance metrics.

• Deliver professional, compassionate, and friendly service to patients of all ages, along with their families, employees, physicians, and community members.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma, Certificate, GED, Training, or relevant experience.

• Successfully complete the Patient Access training program.

• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced work setting.

• Competency in basic mathematical calculations.

• Detail-oriented, organized, a team player, compassionate, and possess excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

• Basic understanding of medical and insurance terminology is preferred.

• Familiarity with computer applications, such as Microsoft Office and EMR systems.

• Proficient typing skills.

• Awareness of regulatory guidelines, including HIPAA, AHCA, EMTALA, and Medicare coverage structures, particularly regarding medical necessity compliance.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish/Creole is preferred.

• Less than one year of professional experience.
