This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Arrange appointments for patients for diagnostic procedures, surgical interventions, therapy sessions, physician visits, and other treatments.

• Collect and validate essential demographic and insurance details.

• Register patients and input their information into the scheduling software.

• Operate within a call center environment.

• Achieve personal quality performance metrics.

• Deliver professional, compassionate, and friendly service to patients of all ages, their families, employees, physicians, and community members while adhering to the Baptist Health philosophy of service excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma, Certification, GED, Training, or relevant Experience.

• Successfully complete the Patient Access training program.

• Capability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced workplace.

• Proficient in performing basic mathematical calculations.

• Detail-oriented, organized, a team player, compassionate, with outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Basic understanding of medical and insurance terminology is preferred.

• Experience with computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office, familiarity with EMR applications, etc.) and proficient typing skills.

• Awareness of regulatory standards, including HIPAA, AHCA, EMTALA, and Medicare coverage structures, along with medical necessity compliance guidelines.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish/Creole is a plus.
