This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Manage incoming calls from patients, families, and referring providers to arrange appointments across various providers, clinics, departments, practices, and campuses.
• Initiate outbound calls to patients for scheduling appointments with specialists and subspecialists.
• Gather and update patient demographic data, insurance details, and account guarantor information.
• Collect patient liabilities prior to or on the date of service, as necessary.
• Obtain external medical records based on the type of appointment visit.
• Organize in-office procedures and reserve procedure rooms.
• Deliver outstanding patient service to enhance access to suitable care.
• High school diploma.
• Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted, unless certification, licensure, or registration is mandated.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree in a business or healthcare-related discipline.
• Preferred: Previous experience in scheduling and/or customer service via phone.
• Preferred: Prior experience within a healthcare organization.
• Preferred: Bilingual skills in speaking, reading, and writing.
• Potential signing bonus, contingent on eligibility.
• Primarily remote work arrangement.
