Pathogen Assays Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage in dialogue with advanced language models regarding practical laboratory scenarios and theoretical questions related to assay design.

• Assess factual correctness and the logical flow of workflows.

• Record reproducible error traces and document instances of failure.

• Propose enhancements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

• Challenge models on topics related to pathogen assays and clinical microbiology to enhance AI reasoning capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of pathogen detection assays, molecular diagnostics, immunoassays, culture-based methodologies, biosafety protocols, assay validation, and clinical microbiology.

• Familiarity with techniques such as PCR, qPCR, ELISA, lateral flow assays, as well as antigen and antibody testing.

• Proven experience in analyzing sensitivity and specificity, multiplexing, controls and standards, and troubleshooting assays.

• A PhD in microbiology, molecular biology, biomedical sciences, or a closely related life science discipline is preferred.

• Peer-reviewed publications are considered an indicator of suitability.

• Practical experience in the development or diagnostics of pathogen assays.

• Understanding of CLIA, CAP, or ISO standards.

• Strong metacognitive communication skills and the ability to effectively demonstrate your reasoning.

• A secure computer and high-speed internet connection are required for contractor roles.
