Patent Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage with inventors to prepare patent applications for submission to the USPTO

• Prosecute patent applications at the USPTO, which includes interviewing Examiners

• Work in partnership with clients and fellow BoMc attorneys to establish and enhance claim strategies

• Effectively manage a docket of cases for clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies

• Prepare noninfringement and invalidity opinions

• Conduct thorough due diligence investigations

• Execute freedom-to-operate and landscape analyses under the guidance of partners

• Manage post-grant proceedings at the USPTO, such as Inter Partes Reviews

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Registered Patent Attorney

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in patent prosecution

• Candidates from all technology backgrounds are encouraged to apply

• Preferred technology backgrounds include: electrical engineering, computer/software, mechanical engineering, chemistry/biochemistry, biology, physics, and IPR/litigation experience

• A positive approach to client service is essential

• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and professional service abilities, both written and verbal

• Capability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a team setting

• Self-motivated individual committed to success and personal professional development

• Enthusiasm for participating in all facets of a dynamic law firm team
