Party & Events Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Respond to incoming party and group inquiries and follow up accordingly.

• Connect with wedding planners, bridal businesses, venues, event professionals, and companies related to weddings.

• Identify and reach out to local businesses and organizations for corporate team-building initiatives.

• Cultivate relationships with potential referral partners.

• Maintain consistent follow-up with interested groups.

• Address queries and assist potential clients in selecting the appropriate experience.

• Collaborate with the DivaDance team to finalize event bookings.

• Monitor leads, follow-ups, and opportunities.

• Generate new bookings for parties and group events.

• Organize bachelorette and bachelor parties, birthday celebrations, corporate team-building events, girls' trips and group getaways, kids' and teens' birthday parties, private group dance experiences, as well as business and community events.

• Confidence and ease in conversing with strangers.

• Enjoyment of making phone calls and initiating conversations.

• Readiness to ask for the sale.

• Persistence in follow-up without being overly aggressive.

• Strong communication and organizational abilities.

• Comfort in reaching out to businesses and potential referral partners.

• Capability to work independently and manage personal leads.

• Experience in sales, event planning, hospitality, the wedding industry, or business development is advantageous, but not mandatory.
