This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of partner integration projects from start to finish, including technical discovery, requirements mapping, solution design, configuration, testing, launch, and post-implementation follow-up.
• Design and implement SSO and rostering integrations utilizing SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, LTI 1.3, OneRoster, and Ed-Fi.
• Align partner requirements with ClassLink’s capabilities and suggest secure, scalable integration strategies.
• Diagnose issues related to authentication, authorization, rostering, API, and data exchange by utilizing logs, API tools, documentation, and structured testing methodologies.
• Foster and manage technical relationships with partner development and implementation teams.
• Simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences and oversee communications with partners.
• Work together with Partner Relationship Managers, Product Support, Connections, Product, and Engineering teams to address technical requirements and escalations.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, troubleshooting resources, and internal knowledge articles.
• Monitor integration work, risks, decisions, and deliverables using Salesforce, Linear, or similar platforms.
• Identify recurring integration challenges and propose enhancements to processes, documentation, tools, APIs, and product capabilities.
• Utilize agentic development tools and AI-assisted coding workflows to prototype integrations, create internal utilities, and automate technical tasks.
• Analyze partner, product, integration, and operational data through spreadsheets, SQL, visualization tools, or scripting languages.
• Create financial models and business cases that evaluate implementation efforts, service costs, ROI, revenue potential, and associated trade-offs.
• Keep up-to-date with ClassLink products, identity and interoperability standards, security practices, and the broader education technology ecosystem.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of four years of experience in solutions engineering, technical consulting, systems integration, implementation, or a similar technical role.
• Practical experience with web APIs and common data formats, such as REST, JSON, and CSV.
• Proven experience with AI-assisted development or agentic tools to create, test, or enhance scripts, automations, prototypes, or technical workflows.
• Proficient in analyzing structured data using advanced spreadsheet functions, SQL, business intelligence tools, Python, JavaScript, or similar methods.
• Familiarity with identity and access management concepts and protocols, including SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect.
• Capability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across various systems and drive them to resolution with minimal supervision.
• Experience in gathering technical requirements and converting them into an implementation plan or solution design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong organizational and project ownership skills, with the ability to manage multiple partner integrations and priorities simultaneously.
• Preferred: experience in education technology, K-12 data systems, identity platforms, SIS, LMS, or application rostering.
• Preferred: capacity to build and explain practical financial models or business cases.
• Preferred: familiarity with OneRoster, Ed-Fi, LTI 1.3, and education data privacy and security practices.
• Preferred: experience utilizing API testing and diagnostic tools, reviewing logs, and collaborating with partner developers.
• Preferred: experience in creating AI-enabled automations or multi-step agentic workflows.
• Preferred: experience with data visualization, operational reporting, forecasting, pricing analysis, or ROI modeling.
• Preferred: familiarity with Salesforce, Linear, or similar platforms.
• Preferred: relevant certifications in cloud, identity, security, API, or interoperability.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
