This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Develop and expand scalable event strategies within Partner Marketing’s online and in-person offerings, which include partner-led pre-sales and post-sales workshops, partner enablement programs, and co-sell events.
• Collaborate with Marketing Operations to enhance the efficiency and consistency of programs.
• Take ownership of the measurement and analytical framework for partner events.
• Identify and evaluate high-value opportunities, establish event selection criteria and performance benchmarks, and analyze results against business outcomes.
• Diagnose areas of underperformance and suggest modifications that enhance impact, efficiency, and return on investment.
• Create and maintain a capacity model as well as an integrated editorial calendar for Partner Marketing events.
• Convert priorities and resource availability into execution plans while identifying capacity constraints and trade-offs.
• Oversee the Partner Marketing events budget and forecasting process, including tracking commitments and actual expenditures while ensuring forecast accuracy within 1%.
• Incorporate Partner Marketing-led events into regional and global marketing calendars.
• Coordinate with regional, field, partner, and global marketing teams to ensure alignment in timing, audiences, messaging, and resources.
• Develop and implement a shared-services model for Partner Marketing events, encompassing the service offering, operating model, intake process, roles, and success metrics.
• Assist in the selection and onboarding of a global agency partner, driving adoption throughout Partner Marketing.
• Manage agency performance and service quality through briefs, milestones, service-level agreements, and escalation paths.
• Monitor delivery standards and propose process or resourcing enhancements.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in B2B event marketing, partner marketing, field marketing, or marketing program management, including both online and in-person initiatives.
• Proven experience in independently managing complex, cross-functional programs, which includes defining timelines, deliverables, dependencies, roles, and success metrics.
• Strong analytical abilities, including setting performance benchmarks, assessing program impact and ROI, diagnosing underperformance, and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
• Experience in managing program budgets and forecasts, tracking both commitments and actual expenditures, and identifying financial risks proactively.
• Capability to establish repeatable processes, capacity plans, calendars, or operational models that enhance efficiency and execution across various programs.
• Experience in managing agencies or vendors, which includes creating briefs, setting expectations and milestones, monitoring performance, and resolving delivery challenges.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to unite stakeholders across various regions, functions, and levels.
• Preferred: experience in developing events or programs for technology, channel, alliance, or ecosystem partners.
• Preferred: experience in creating or operating a shared-services model across multiple teams or regions.
• Preferred: experience supporting global and regional marketing calendars and coordinating programs across AMER, EMEA, and APAC.
• Preferred: familiarity with marketing operations, pipeline measurement, event attribution, and CRM or marketing-automation systems.
