Part-Time Virtual Psychologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions for adults, children, and adolescents addressing issues such as mood disorders, anxiety, stress, and eating disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy and/or educational sessions for families.

• Create tailored treatment plans for each patient.

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to execute treatment plans effectively.

• Conduct all therapy sessions via a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform in accordance with established protocols.

• Complete necessary clinical documentation and administrative duties, which include treatment plans, therapy progress notes, group notes, aftercare plans, and discharge summaries.

• Maintain regular communication with patients' outpatient community providers.

• Perform thorough psychosocial, self-harm, pain, and suicide assessments.

• Develop therapeutic treatment agreements or behavioral support plans when required.

• Organize therapeutic team meetings with patients as necessary.

• Participate in treatment team meetings and rounds to ensure effective patient care coordination.

• May offer training and support to less experienced team members.

• Work part-time on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM MST.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD) or Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology from an APA Accredited program.

• Currently licensed as a Psychologist in a Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PsyPact) State.

• Possesses Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PsyPact) credential.

• Successfully passed the Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP).

• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in conducting psychotherapy.

• Ability to transition seamlessly between different group assignments, lines of service, and age demographics – demonstrating flexibility.

• Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills for working within a multi-disciplinary team.

• Engaging and adept at managing video interactions.

• Proficient with or able to quickly learn required technologies, including a video meeting platform, EMHR, and various computer applications.
