Part-Time Virtual Psychologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions for adults, children, and adolescents addressing issues such as mood disorders, anxiety, stress, and eating disorders.

• Provide family therapy and/or educational sessions for families.

• Create tailored treatment plans for each patient.

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to execute these treatment plans.

• Conduct all therapy sessions via a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform, adhering to established protocols.

• Complete necessary clinical documentation and administrative duties, including treatment plans, therapy progress notes, group notes, aftercare plans, and discharge summaries.

• Maintain regular communication with patients’ outpatient community providers.

• Perform comprehensive assessments, including psychosocial, self-harm, pain, and suicide evaluations.

• Develop therapeutic treatment agreements or behavioral support plans as required.

• Organize therapeutic team meetings with patients when necessary.

• Participate in treatment team meetings and rounds to ensure coordinated patient care.

• May offer training and mentorship to less experienced colleagues.

• Work part-time on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM MST.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD) or Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology from an APA Accredited program.

• Must be a currently licensed Psychologist residing in a Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PsyPact) State.

• Holds a Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PsyPact) credential.

• Successfully passed the Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP).

• At least 2-4 years of experience in conducting psychotherapy.

• Demonstrates flexibility in transitioning between group assignments, lines of service, and age groups.

• Possesses a collaborative spirit with strong communication skills for working in a multi-disciplinary team.

• Engaging and adept at managing video interactions effectively.

• Familiarity with or the ability to quickly learn necessary technologies, including a video meeting platform, EMHR, and other software applications.
