Part Time Virtual Family Practice Nurse Practitioner – Temporary, NC Licensed

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Assess the caseload and set up technology for patient services.

• Utilize technology to manage the daily schedule effectively.

• Collaborate with clinical in-home team members during patient visits.

• Foster welcoming relationships with a diverse range of patients.

• Conduct virtual wellness visits for adults and/or pediatric patients.

• Execute health risk assessments, medication reviews, and cognitive evaluations.

• Provide patients with educational resources regarding health and wellness.

• Monitor vital signs and coordinate blood draws with Sprinters.

• Offer care coordination and management services.

• Implement preventive care measures, manage medications, and facilitate specialist and community-resource referrals, along with necessary documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

• Hold an active Family Nurse Practitioner license in Louisiana.

• Previous experience in conducting wellness visits is required.

• Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, accountability, confidentiality, care, and compassion.

• Ability to engage in last-minute problem-solving and think creatively.

• Proficient in technology, including laptops, mobile devices, and HIPAA-compliant messaging applications.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Capable of working independently as well as within a team setting.

• Must pass a national background check and have a valid clinical license search.
