Part-Time Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Deliver compassionate, Fear Free-aligned in-home euthanasia, hospice, and palliative care.

• Offer in-home euthanasia and hospice services for elderly and terminally ill pets.

• Support families during the end-of-life journey with empathy, patience, and professionalism.

• Assist families in making end-of-life choices for their pets.

• Establish relationships with local veterinary clinics as an extension of their services.

• Ensure accurate and timely medical documentation is maintained.

• Collaborate with medical leadership and support teams effectively.

• Engage in continuous training, education, and clinical development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS) from an accredited veterinary institution.

• Active veterinary license in the state of practice or the capability to obtain one.

• Valid U.S. driver's license.

• Availability to work some weekends as part of a rotating schedule.

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

• Successful background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) check post-hire and prior to the start date.

• Experience in hospice, palliative care, or Fear Free certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
