Part-Time Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver compassionate, Fear Free-aligned in-home euthanasia, hospice, and palliative care.

• Offer in-home euthanasia and hospice services for geriatric and terminally ill pets.

• Assist and support families through end-of-life decisions and procedures.

• Establish relationships with local veterinary clinics to enhance their care.

• Operate independently in the field with backing from medical leadership, Veterinary Care Specialists, and operational teams.

• Keep precise and timely medical records.

• Work alongside medical leadership and support teams.

• Engage in ongoing training, education, and clinical development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS) from an accredited veterinary institution.

• Active veterinary license in the state of practice, or the ability to acquire one.

• Valid U.S. driver's license.

• Willingness to work some weekends as part of a rotating schedule.

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

• Candidates will undergo a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) check post-hire and prior to their start date.

• Compassionate, emotionally intelligent, and client-oriented.

• Comfortable working autonomously in the field.

• Strong communication skills in emotionally sensitive situations.

• Experience in hospice, palliative care, or a Fear Free certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
