Part-Time Telehealth Therapist, LCSW, LMHC, LPC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver personalized therapy through live video sessions to adults experiencing various mental health challenges.

• Work collaboratively with other therapists and healthcare professionals as part of the FOLX clinical team.

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients.

• Create and execute therapeutic strategies that are in line with treatment objectives.

• Continuously monitor and modify treatment plans based on self-assessments, functional improvements, and progress towards goals.

• Utilize messaging between sessions and engage with the team via EMR in accordance with FOLX policies and procedures.

• Participate in treatment team discussions, supervision sessions, and clinical meetings.

• Ensure thorough and prompt clinical documentation.

• Assist in designing, coordinating, and delivering therapy services and programs for patients and community groups.

• Adhere to federal and state regulations governing therapy practices.

• Maintain necessary state licenses as required.

• Carry out other responsibilities as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree or higher from an accredited program in psychology, counseling, or social work.

• Current active state license(s) (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LPC, PhD, or PsyD) required for practice upon hiring.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in therapy.

• Clinical background in serving the trans and queer community.

• Previous experience with telehealth is essential.

• Strong ability to communicate with empathy and clarity to a diverse range of patients and colleagues.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills for the prompt completion of documentation and patient care in a remote setting.

• Self-driven and adaptable, with a readiness to thrive in a dynamic environment.

• Capability to learn new applications and software, as well as proficiency with virtual meeting tools.

• Proven experience working with diverse populations.

• Proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
