This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Provide instruction to students in grades 6β12 as a digital educator, supporting multiple grades and students within a partnership.
β’ Identify instructional techniques, strategies, and methods, while adapting curriculum and learning styles to address and evaluate student needs.
β’ Maintain communication with parents and guardians regarding academic and disciplinary matters through phone calls, notes, progress reports, and other media.
β’ Carry out clerical responsibilities, including logging communications in SIS and finalizing grades.
β’ Adhere to regular and predictable attendance requirements as established by the manager.
β’ Create activities, resources, strategies, methods, and lesson plans that align with learning objectives and school guidelines.
β’ Assess and evaluate student performance, behavior, and progress through grades, progress reports, and assessments related to learning objectives.
β’ Ensure confidentiality of student and staff information.
β’ Contribute to the professional development of oneself and colleagues by sharing and planning curriculum, staying updated on educational trends, and maintaining current teaching certifications.
β’ Collaborate effectively to fulfill the overall objectives of the school program.
β’ Foster a classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
β’ Undertake additional duties as assigned.
β’ A minimum of a Bachelorβs Degree in Education or a Post Bachelors in Education from an accredited college or university.
β’ A valid State Teaching Certificate from any state; appropriate endorsements may be necessary based on the area of instruction, or successful completion of the relevant AEPA or NES proficiency exams.
β’ Professional verification of successful classroom teaching performance and/or student teaching experience.
β’ Any equivalent combination of experience, training, and/or education that demonstrates comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities.
β’ A satisfactory criminal background check.
β’ An active AZ Department of Public Safety (DPS) IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
β’ Ability to articulate, exhibit a professional demeanor, and demonstrate initiative.
β’ Strong understanding of human behavior and learning theories, including motivation, reinforcement, evaluation, and feedback techniques.
β’ Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, students, alumni, corporate partners, vendors, and admissions personnel.
β’ Demonstrated ability to report to work regularly and punctually.
β’ Proven written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
β’ Effective problem-solving skills and a commitment to self-motivated learning.
β’ Proficiency in using instructional adaptive technology tools in online courses.
β’ Competence with technology, computers, and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
β’ Must fulfill the specified physical demands, with reasonable accommodations available where applicable.

β’ Occasional travel may be necessary for site visits, meetings, training sessions, and/or conferences, with some travel locations potentially requiring overnight stays.
