This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Ensure that all students have access to knowledge.
• Foster students’ cognitive development, respect for learning, self-esteem, motivation, civic responsibility, and leadership skills.
• Deliver digital instruction across various grades and students within a partnership framework.
• Identify instructional techniques, strategies, and methods, and tailor curriculum and learning styles to address and assess student needs.
• Maintain communication with parents and guardians regarding academic and behavioral matters through phone calls, notes, progress reports, and other communication channels.
• Carry out clerical tasks, including logging communications in the SIS and finalizing grades.
• Adhere to regular attendance requirements as specified by the manager.
• Create activities, resources, strategies, and methods for teaching, including lesson plans that align with learning objectives and school guidelines.
• Assess and evaluate student performance, behavior, and progress through grades, progress reports, and assessments based on learning objectives.
• Ensure confidentiality of student and staff information.
• Contribute to professional development by collaborating on curriculum planning, staying updated on educational trends, and maintaining teaching certifications.
• Work collaboratively to achieve the overall aims of the school program.
• Sustain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a Post Bachelors in Education from an accredited institution.
• A valid State Teaching Certificate from any state; appropriate endorsements may be necessary based on the area of instruction, or passing of relevant AEPA or NES proficiency exams.
• Professional verification of successful classroom teaching performance and/or student teaching experience.
• Any equivalent combination of experience, training, and/or education that provides comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• A satisfactory criminal background check is required.
• An active Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Capability to express ideas clearly, maintain a professional demeanor, and demonstrate initiative.
• Strong understanding of human behavior and learning theories, including motivation, reinforcement, evaluation, and feedback techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, students, alumni, corporate partners, vendors, and admissions staff.
• Proven track record of regular and punctual attendance.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities.
• Proficient problem solver and self-motivated learner.
• Competence in using instructional adaptive technology tools in online courses.
• Proficiency with technology, including computers and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Physical ability to perform essential functions, which may include occasional lifting or pushing of up to 15 lbs.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, including potential overnight stays.
