Part Time Research Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Stay thoroughly informed about the trial protocol, Case Report Forms (CRFs/eCRF), off-site manual, supporting documents, procedures, timelines, and applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Collaborate with the Illingworth research nurse project manager, Research nurse manager, site personnel, and Principal Investigator.

• Ensure precise documentation and electronic data transfers while safeguarding subject confidentiality, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and data protection compliance.

• Participate in Site Initiation Visits and other essential meetings.

• Organize and conduct subject trial visits both on-site and off-site with the RN team.

• Execute trial procedures and assessments as per the protocol and SOPs, ensuring accurate data collection.

• Administer trial medication and oversee its safe storage, transfer, and accountability.

• Process, package, and send samples while coordinating with courier services and organizations.

• Assist in identifying eligible patients and facilitating their recruitment into clinical trials.

• Offer patient information and support for care both on-site and off-site.

• Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and Suspected Unexpected Serious Adverse Reactions (SUSARs) to the site team and RNPM.

• Notify Illingworth and associated companies about suspected misconduct or fraud.

⛳️ Requirements

• Registered nurse with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience.

• Experience in research and clinical trials with GCP certification.

• Familiarity with research design and methodology is desirable.

• Preferable experience and knowledge in clinical nursing skills such as Venepuncture and ECG.

• Ability to work independently and take initiative while being part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication capabilities.

• Proficient in prioritizing and managing multiple tasks effectively.

• Good working knowledge of computer software including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint at a minimum.

• Equivalent experience, skills, and/or education will also be taken into account.
