Part Time Pharmacist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct remote order entry and evaluate CPOE orders for accuracy and verification.

• Ensure the acquisition or renewal of licenses for all pharmacy staff.

• Serve as a staff pharmacist when necessary.

• Offer consultations to physicians and nursing staff.

• Deliver clinical medication dosing services.

• Review and monitor patient profiles and laboratory values to assess therapeutic outcomes.

• Coordinate medication access in accordance with facility policies and comply with state and federal laws and regulations.

• Provide remote support to clients’ patients to ensure continuity of care.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold a Texas Pharmacist license in good standing.

• Active pharmacy license(s) in both the state of residence and the original state of licensure are required.

• An active TX license is mandatory.

• Ability to obtain reciprocity for additional states necessary for practice.

• Proficient in computer skills to learn and effectively operate various pharmacy information systems.

• Preferred 2-4 years of clinical hospital inpatient experience.

• Strong communication skills to facilitate effective interactions with other healthcare professionals for the delivery of competent clinical care.
