This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Create around 8–12 direct-response advertising concepts weekly.
• Craft scripts, hooks, briefs, headlines, and messaging customized for specific audiences, platforms, and awareness stages.
• Take ownership of the monthly creative direction, ensuring alignment among agencies, editors, and creators with current successful strategies.
• Develop creative strategies for Meta, AppLovin, and other acquisition channels.
• Analyze performance data to pinpoint successful hooks, messages, formats, personas, and offers.
• Evaluate incoming footage and creative assets to ascertain what should be tested, revised, combined, or phased out.
• Transform validated creative into iterations, mashups, static images, and video variations.
• Write actionable briefs and manage freelance editors and agency partners.
• Research competitor advertisements, emerging formats, customer insights, and platform-specific trends.
• Lead a weekly creative review that encompasses performance, pipeline status, insights, and forthcoming tests.
• Coordinate efforts among agencies, editors, producers, organic content teams, creators, and brand partners.
• Mentor creative contributors on best practices in direct-response and performance marketing.
• Present creative insights, recommendations, and production priorities to company leadership.
• Maintain a comprehensive source of truth for briefs, creative status, testing outcomes, and performance notes.
• Establish a systematic testing cadence and minimize the backlog of untested creative.
• 4–7 years of experience working with direct-to-consumer brands or performance-marketing agencies.
• A demonstrated history of developing paid social creative for DTC or e-commerce brands.
• Exceptional direct-response copywriting and scriptwriting abilities.
• Experience in converting customer research and performance data into creative concepts.
• Strong understanding of paid social creative across both video and static formats.
• Knowledge of creative testing, iteration, audience awareness, hooks, angles, and conversion-oriented messaging.
• Experience in managing multiple agencies, editors, creators, or production partners simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational and project-management skills.
• Proficient in working with Meta’s advertising ecosystem and performance analytics tools.
• Familiarity with project-management and reporting tools such as ClickUp, Asana, Google Sheets, or similar platforms.
• A direct, witty, and engaging communication style that aligns with a men’s health brand.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize efficiently, and execute tasks without extensive resources or bureaucracy.
• Availability for regular overlap with Pacific Time working hours.
• Nice to Have: Experience in men’s health, wellness, supplements, or another regulated DTC/CPG category.
• Nice to Have: Experience in a high-growth DTC performance brand.
• Nice to Have: Familiarity with Triple Whale, AppLovin, or similar analytics and acquisition platforms.
• Nice to Have: Practical video-editing skills, particularly with Adobe tools.
• Nice to Have: Experience in creating rough cuts, mashups, or rapid creative prototypes.
• Nice to Have: Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools such as Persona OS or Manus.
