Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Deliver compassionate, Fear Free-aligned in-home euthanasia, hospice, and palliative care.

• Assist families throughout the end-of-life journey with empathy, patience, and professionalism.

• Ensure accurate and timely medical record-keeping.

• Collaborate effectively with medical leadership and support teams.

• Operate independently in the field while receiving support from medical leadership, Veterinary Care Specialists, and operational infrastructure.

• Engage in continuous training, education, and clinical development.

• Foster relationships with local veterinary clinics and function as an extension of their care.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS) from an accredited veterinary institution.

• Active veterinary license in the state of practice, or the ability to obtain one.

• Valid U.S. driver’s license.

• Availability to work weekends as part of a rotating schedule.

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

• Subject to a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) check post-hire and before the designated start date.

• Certification in hospice, palliative care, or Fear Free is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Competence in providing in-home euthanasia and hospice care for geriatric and terminally ill pets.

• Proficiency in guiding families through end-of-life decisions.

• Ability to establish connections with local veterinary clinics.
