Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver compassionate and gentle in-home euthanasia, hospice, and palliative care.

• Offer in-home euthanasia and hospice services for elderly and terminally ill pets.

• Assist families in navigating end-of-life decisions.

• Provide empathetic, patient, and professional support to families throughout the end-of-life process.

• Foster relationships with local veterinary clinics as an extension of their care.

• Ensure accurate and timely medical documentation is maintained.

• Collaborate with medical leadership and support teams.

• Engage in ongoing training, education, and clinical development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS) from an accredited veterinary institution.

• Active veterinary license in the state of practice, or the ability to obtain one.

• Valid U.S. driver’s license.

• Availability to work some weekends as part of a rotating schedule.

• Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

• Successful background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) check post-hire and prior to the associated start date.

• Compassionate, emotionally intelligent, and focused on client needs.

• Comfortable working independently in the field.

• Strong communication skills, especially in emotionally sensitive situations.

• Certification in hospice, palliative care, or Fear Free is advantageous but not mandatory.
