Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Deliver compassionate, Fear Free-aligned in-home euthanasia, hospice, and palliative care.

• Offer in-home euthanasia and hospice services for geriatric and terminally ill pets.

• Assist and guide families through the decision-making process at the end of life.

• Establish relationships with local veterinary clinics, acting as an extension of their care.

• Operate independently in the field while receiving support from medical leadership, Veterinary Care Specialists, and operational teams.

• Ensure accurate and timely medical documentation is maintained.

• Collaborate with medical leadership and support teams effectively.

• Engage in ongoing training, education, and clinical development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS) from an accredited veterinary institution.

• Active veterinary license in the state of practice or the ability to obtain one.

• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.

• Availability to work some weekends as part of a rotating schedule.

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

• Background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) check are required post-hire and before the start date.

• Must be compassionate, emotionally intelligent, and client-focused.

• Comfortable working independently in the field.

• Strong communication skills are needed during emotionally sensitive situations.

• Experience in hospice, palliative care, or Fear Free certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
