Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Deliver compassionate and gentle in-home euthanasia, hospice, and palliative care services.

• Attend to the needs of geriatric and terminally ill pets.

• Offer support to families during the end-of-life journey.

• Assist families in making informed end-of-life choices for their pets.

• Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of medical documentation.

• Cultivate relationships with local veterinary clinics.

• Collaborate effectively with medical leadership and support teams.

• Engage in ongoing training, education, and clinical development.

• Operate independently in the field while receiving support from medical leadership, Veterinary Care Specialists, and operational teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS) from an accredited veterinary institution.

• Current veterinary license in the state of practice, or the ability to obtain one.

• Valid U.S. driver's license.

• Willingness to work some weekends as part of a rotating schedule.

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

• Must pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) check after hire and prior to starting date.

• Possess compassion, emotional intelligence, and a client-centered approach.

• Comfortable working autonomously in the field.

• Strong communication skills in emotionally sensitive situations.

• Experience in hospice, palliative care, or Fear Free certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
