Part-Time Family Physician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Supervise Nurse Practitioners as they deliver multidisciplinary care.

• Offer virtual care to Medicare patients facing chronic, complex, and overlapping medical, behavioral health, and social challenges.

• Facilitate virtual healthcare access for underserved patients utilizing internal care-delivery technology and clinical expertise.

• Create and enhance clinical programs that cater to patients’ holistic needs and address care barriers.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, care managers, social workers, community health workers, and other members of the care team.

• Aid in care coordination and respond to unique patient requirements.

• Contribute insights on the development of clinical programs.

• Assist in launching the Medicare program across various states.

• Report directly to physician leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with patients who have complex social and healthcare needs.

• A strong desire to collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team.

• Proficient with technology and experienced in digital-first healthcare, including telemedicine.

• Comfortable navigating various technology platforms.

• Reside in California with a quiet, HIPAA-compliant, internet-connected workspace.

• Board certification or eligibility as a Family Physician.

• Eligible to enroll in Medicare.

• Capable of working with patients across all age groups, from pediatrics to geriatrics.

• Experience in Medicaid/FQHC clinics catering to underfunded or underserved populations.

• Background in managing chronic diseases among Medicare beneficiaries.

• A valid medical license in California, plus additional state licensure or a willingness to obtain further licenses.

• An active California DEA or a willingness to secure one.

• Startup experience is an advantage.

• Must reside and work in the United States.

• Availability for PST hours to address urgent needs/support.

• E-Verify employment eligibility verification required for new hires.

• A successful pre-employment background check is mandatory.
